Often I have heard, "Why New Construction". I can get a better deal on a short sale or foreclosure these days.
I would answer that by telling you that there are some deals to be had in our marketplace for sure. BUT, make sure you know what you are getting into. Do you have the patience to endure the short sale process? I work with Brandl Anderson Homes and we have a build time frame of 90 days. In the time you are sitting and wondering IF you will get the house, your brand new home can be constructed.
Condition is another big question with some of the "deals" in the marketplace. Do you have the money to fix up and repair what is left behind for you? Most of these properties are sold "AS-IS" meaning you get what you get. In new construction you are getting a brand new home, brand new appliances and mechanical along with a warranty.
The prices of new construction are very competitive as well. With many lot prices down that affects the price of the new home, making it much more appealing.
Don't take new construction out of your thoughts. There is alot of opportunity there and you get exactly what you want!

Let me introduce myself...
Hello, I am Kristine Jones. I am passionate about real estate and especially love new construction. I work with Brandl Anderson Homes. I have been in real estate for 6 years and have worked with the builder for the past 4 years.
Helping people through the process of new construction is exciting. Being up front in the beginning about the process and what to expect is key. I am ALWAYS honest in letting people know that there may be a few potholes in the process. But, I tell my clients that about existing real estate as well.
Having your home built for you and your exact needs makes it fun and rewarding.
I look forward to sharing my new construction knowledge with you through this blog.
Make it a great day!
